Objectives:

To understand what ECOTA is.
To consider our motivation for working this way.
To explore own ECOScripts and that of our clients.
To build a theoretical base for this work.
To begin to consider working ecologically with clients.

Content:

Introductions.
What is ECOTA? Teach & Group conversation.
Motivation, benefits & possible disadvantages of working this way; individual Niche outdoor exercise, followed by group discussion.
ECOScript Theory:, Hayley Marshall’s concept of ECOscript & Rebecca Elston’s ECOScript Helix.
ECOscript: individual outdoor exercise followed by pair work.
Critique of ECOTA.
Cultivating an ecological practice: pairs exercise outdoors, followed by group discussion: working with Key & Tudor’s model & bringing all ideas together.
