N.B. You must have completed the First Year of Training to begin the Second Year.
In the second year of training, the focus of how theory is applied shifts from self to clients and the importance of the therapeutic relationship. During each module, you will be invited to critically analyse how the theory presented can be applying both in individual, couples, families and group clinical settings. Through skills practice in small groups, you will learn how to meet Psychotherapy Institute’s clinical competencies which will be assessed by the Tutor in Module 4. Following this endorsement to practice, you will apply for a voluntary clinical placement and secure a Clinical Supervisor (a Provisional or full Teaching & Supervising Transactional Analyst).
To apply for our Advanced Clinical training (if you have not joined earlier years) we ask that you Contact Us with information of your training to date and then, if appropriate, we will schedule an interview to see if it's appropriate to offer you a place on our training programme.
